ATTORNEY & ESCROW OFFICER
John J. Tucker is a seasoned attorney with over two decades of experience in corporate and real estate finance. He specializes in representing investment funds, banks, lenders, and other key players in commercial real estate. His expertise encompasses commercial mortgage loan origination and servicing, securitization, and various secondary market transactions. He has significant experience in all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including structuring and advising clients with respect to warehouse and repurchase facilities, preferred equity, mezzanine, subordinate, and pari passu financings, as well as whole loan sales, participations, splits, and syndications.
Throughout his career, John has represented Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), private equity funds, and other investors in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of various commercial real estate assets. He is also experienced in handling distressed asset transactions, including workouts and restructurings, foreclosures, discounted payoffs, and Real Estate Owned (REO) sales.
John earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Alabama, obtained in 1997. He is licensed to practice law in Texas since 2002.
